I wish the Harry Rosen store area could be extended to match this building's street wall. And then a new urbanistic facade across the entire Yonge Eaton frontage.

The ideal use is for a portion of the ground floor to serve as the subway entrance to an expanded Line 1/3 station - and redevelop that wretched stairwell, but that boat already sailed unfortunately.

Before you get the meal, you have to agree to participate in a five-second promo, hence the hockey and ski hill sets, then you get to choose Pizza French Fries, Podium Poutine, or Gold Medal Sliders. You can only select one per day and it is free. Vegetarian options are available. It also comes with a voucher for a free bag of McCain's frozen potato products or a bag of McCain's frozen onion rings.

My review for the Pizza French Fries and the Podium Poutine (I personally am not interested in the Gold Medal Sliders):

Both taste excellent and have really crispy fries. Yes, I went on two different days (first time on February 13 and second time on February 22). They are not exactly the healthiest though.

Unfortunately, by the time you are reading this, the pop-up restaurant closed (it was open during the duration of the 2026 Winter Olympics, which ended on February 22). The reason I didn't post this earlier is because I had a huge backlog of photos. Sorry about that.

Fortunately, they are very easy to prepare at home. For example, the Pizza French Fries are just shoestring fries, pizza sauce, melted mozzarella cheese, and pepperoni slices, drizzled with hot honey (hot as in temperature, not as in SHUs).
