Report literally says they're planning on putting 42-storey towers up across the street at Shoppers World. Why make this development jump through all these nebulous legal hoops that are inevitably going to be disregarded a couple years from now when they raze the mall?

Literally just blatant NIMBYism from the boomers in Peel Village. Tower was a little too close to their fence so the "rules" now apply. Literally just the other side of Main and nobody will squeak.
