It might not look like a lot, but those 9 new trees and 3m of added sidewalk are going to make the experience of walking down this stretch of Barton so much nicer.

I was thinking the same. That whole stretch of Barton between Parkdale and Ottawa is kinda dreadful despite the fact that its surrounded by really nice, quiet tree-lined residential streets. Lots of really underutlized lots and unfriendly architecture. This'll improve things a lot.

I don’t see why they wouldn’t. The original renders of 1620 Main Street show the trees that have just been planted there. Maybe, if this building can get built as fast, there could be a chance the trees get planted before 2027.

Well they certainly wont be that big in 2027, theyll maybe go up to the top of the first floor.
