Single loaded corridor, very interesting. Also looks like they have spread the amenity space across floors and have at least some shared laundry.
 
Yeah, I have zero complaints with this. In fact, Id love to see similar projects around the city, on major corners or otherwise.
It's nice to have a decent sized building without setbacks on major intersections, it sets the mood well, and since they're not exceptionally high, wind tunnel issues tend to be less severe, unless youre talking about an already dense (with high density res.) area.
 
The city should be finding a way to copy paste this building across the city. Once you have a detailed design done for one, you could order 20 from Stubbes and have them all open within 2 years.

The City [rightly] isn't going to move on the union / non-union issue. It would be up to Stubbe to decide if those potential contracts would be worth remapping their staffing and production efforts. It's a moot point now because the City doesn't have any mandate to do anything like this, but were they to, it might be worth it.
