Hmmm...much taller than anything else in the area. Normally I'm fine with towers, but I'm not so sure about this. One of the appealing things about West Queen West/Parkdale is the more intimate streetscape and lack of tall buildings...

I'm leaning this way, too. I'm fine with a building in the teens.

There's an in-person community consultation meeting coming up for this project on February 13, 2025:

If King-Liberty GO actually gets canned... RIP
I am actually kind of surprised that the future of the KING-LIBERTY GO station isn't more of a "Transit Talking-Point" during these Provincial Elections...

The media are a motley group, some pay attention and try........... others not so much.

Given that congestion is a major issue in the city, and provide for that matter, I find it interesting as well that we arent talking about transit as much as we should be. You can draw lines on a map and call it a day - but nobody seems to be talking about what they plan to do to get transit built, and how they plan on funding these projects. Increasing GO services and frequencies will truly transform the province. It will unlock a bunch of land that can be upzoned to provide opportunities for housing employment and relieve pressure away from Toronto, specifically downtown. Vaughan Metropolitan Centre, Richmond Hill Centre, Scarbrough Centre, Markham Centre, North York Centre, Pickering City Centre, and Mississauga City Centre all have so much growth potential. We need to develop strategies to support growth in these nodes and provide transit to help these people move within their community.

This does seem quite tall for this site. But that streetscape has long been ruined by the Bohemian Embassy, if that's even what it's still called. If anything here's hoping what ends up built at this site does something to hide that monstrosity next door.
