One year later - apparently, the 2 Tecumseth site has been sold by the Gupta Group to TAS. TAS held a Meet The Developer meeting yesterday (January 28, 2017) at 100 Niagara Street (unfortunately not able to go). From the invite which was circulating:

Yeah, crane is for the construction of an emergency exit building along the Ontario Line.

Still going through technical resubmissions on the SPA file in pursuit of NOAC. No movement on permits -- all necessary construction permits for Phase 1 (Building C the 31-storey) remain pending. There was a February revision on the issued geothermal permit reducing the number of geothermal boreholes to reflect the first phase of development only (Geothermal Borefield for 2 Tecumseth, consisting of 134 boreholes)

@ProjectEnd Must be some kind of private arrangement where the name is under Woodborune perhaps...TAS has to pay a monthly inflated fee for keeping the equipment at the site
