Met this furry little guy enjoying the flowers in the Draper Parkette yesterday. He seemed, as I'm sure we all are at UT, a bit curious about the activity at The Well. Hopefully one day he can experience the Wellington Cat Promenade too.
I also spotted this paranoid mouse (rat?) who quickly realized he'd walked into the wrong park and scurried back into the depths of The Well before being spotted by our orange friend.

My understanding - an agreement has been reached between the City and the developers of the adjoining site, the planned retirement home at 462 Wellington West, to use the park for construction staging, after which the park will be redeveloped with a financial contribution to the City from the retirement home project (Verve Senior Living) in addition to the already in place land contribution from The Well. Current status of the Verve project is at:

I do not know what this means - but pretty sure that it does mean something for the future. The parking lot to the east side of the Herman Miller building at 462 Wellington Street West. (Mods - I could not find an existing thread for this location - if there is one, and I missed it, could you...
On another note - for Draper Street my understanding is that interlocking brick has at least been proposed for the Draper Street reconstruction, but I do not know one way or the other as to whether it made the final funded plans.
