I agree. It was okay, but could have been better. I’m guessing because the park was only temporary, they didn’t put a ton of effort or resources into it.

Kensington continues to roll. This and the other one on 10th will be in full swing when Kit and Kensington mixed use are wrapping up.

I agree that retail is not needed here. There are a decent amount of retail spaces that are available in Kensington already. The number of people required to support retail uses might surprise some people around here.

Think of a small rural town of around 1000 people. They would probably have a gas station. Perhaps a Subway and a general store. A building like this can't support a significant amount of retail, especially given that the residents won't have a bunch of disposable income.

Personally, I would love to see an additional 5000+ residents in Kensington with zero additional retail. Perhaps then we might see more businesses stay open after 8PM.

Yup, ContainR has relocated to that space up in Crescent Heights. Those are the same containers.

Word was this project could start up in the spring.
