^That's a big blow to Cornwall Centre, it doesn't really have another anchor tenant and is the main mall in Regina.

I don't know where the Bay is headed, but I feel it is not good. Perhaps to a Holts like future, with stores in only a few larger cities, or down an Eaton's path, which may take a while longer because of the value of the real estate holdings may cover the operating losses. But if it can't make it in a city of a quarter million people and a provincial capital, I don't think that is a good sign.

Every time I've been to a Bay at WEM or Southgate, it's not too busy. I feel like for all the pain. the Bay leaving City Centre was a blessing in disguise since that space can be repurposed/redeveloped rather than having an anchor retailer that's essentially on life support.

Claire's is reopening in a new space after getting kicked out for JD. Similar to what happened with the South Common one. Can't remember where exactly it was but it had a humorous little message on the storefront that said "as if we'd ever leave you!"

Winners is opening in the basement level of the new wing (under H & M and London Drugs).

Tbh, basement level is a perfect spot for a store like Winners.
