Same but, interestingly enough, if you click on "+quote" and "reply" the photo will load in the reply box (I didn't try to see if it would load if I posted the reply)...

I'm done with SSP. They are now forcing users (via popup window) to disable their ad blockers before posting, but disabling them still doesn't get rid of the ad blocker popup window. I quit the Edmonton Journal website a few months ago for the exact same reason. I pray that SRC doesn't follow suit.

If this is still an issue for you in 2025, install "uBlock Lite" and it will bypass the "disable" message. I'm assuming you're on Chrome and have AdBlock Plus installed.
Works for most news websites.
