I think this is going to be another McDonald's. Yonge, just south of Gerrard next to Swiss Chalet.

Yeah, I walked by Friday when they were loading in some kitchen equipment marked "McDonalds"...but what happened to Times Square Billiards and that independent sports gear shop?

There's a lot of McDonald's on Yonge. Is there really that high a demand?

I think it's partly because they're not on other streets around Yonge. None on Bay. Only 1 on Church.

The McDonald's inside Atrium on Bay is essentially on Bay.

I guess, but I don't really count underground stores as they don't have a street presence.

Teppan Kenta has opened in the Bay/Wellesley area (at the back of a condo building, behind a Rabba). This replaces the short-lived Nejibee.

Taqueria on Yonge, south of Bloor is gone...saw signs for "Miss Korea" up. Kind of sudden, no? I guess moving to a much larger space from Cumberland Terrace was a bad move for them.
