Another A&W is opening up on DuPont and Christie on the south west corner. They're opening brutally fast now. Though since Starbucks is the only "competition" in the area they should do okay.... and hopefully this means more commercial use on that particular strip. It's quite dead atm.
 
New in the north side of Wellesley just west of Yonge.

Mercatto on Toronto Street has closed. They are opening a new concept called Cantina Mercatto at 20 Wellington Street East.

Pam's Roti has re-opened, further west on Bloor, at Gladstone. Same delicious doubles and weird green paint inside. :)

After being closed for "summer renewal" for the better part of a year, Grey Tiger has also re-opened. Hopefully they'll be more successful; they were often inexplicably quiet compared to other bars in the area, even though their cocktails were excellent.
