Sushi Queen- 270 Queen St.W -right beside Queen Mother Cafe -- has closed- in it's place a Hair Salon is opening.. - dayum.. their sushi was good- and prices were reasonable-and had good portions..


and just a few steps down- Wine Rack just opened- quite a small store I must say..
 
Mother's Dumplings on Danforth (east of Pape) has closed but the Spadina location remains open...something called Revere is taking over the Danforth location

My friend got sick from eating here back in 2011. Thankfully never ate there myself.

Potbelly Sandwich Shop will be opening its second location at 180 Bloor Street West in the former Grand & Toy space across from the ROM. The first location will be opening at 83 Yonge Street this fall.

I thought that's what it might be (didn't see the name anywhere on the window coverings). They seem to be big in the U.S., but I had a breakfast sandwich from them once and was not impressed.
 
Kom Jug Yuen at 371 Spadina Ave, one of the oldest remaining restaurant and BBQ take-out spots in Chinatown has now closed down.
