Not much anyone could do since Mr. Flemming refused multiple offers to sell that property. It may happen eventually, but not anytime soon. Good news is that there are very preliminary discussions on a potential developer team getting together to put together a proposal for "L" shaped lot 368 Slater & the old Minto lots at Slater & Lyon

Are you saying they want to connect 360 (empty)/368 Slater (Appletree) and 453 Laurier (empty) into one L shaped lot? If so, that would be a great lot for a new tallest in the CBD.

Yes, that is the plan. It's all owned by the same person. Preliminary massing plans are hopefully going to be completed by the end of the year. This is very early on so don't get too excited yet.

Honestly I'm glad the owner of those blocks hasn't given in to pressure to sell. Those are nice, well maintained blocks that provide a good contrast with the modern towers around.
