That works best when there are substitutes. I don't disagree though.

There are a fair few of those types of services available in Canada.

ie. Cloud computing/data storage

There are a couple of Canadian Streaming services, and there are certainly well capitalized players that could stand up more.

The challenge, of course, would be how quickly, and on whose dime (would public subsidy be required).

The nice thing about the two I mention above..........is that Cloud Computing, fits nicely into 'National Security' which the U.S. has repeatedly used under Trump to undermine Trade Treaties most of which have an allowance/exception for such.

Canada also has a USMCA trade exception for culture.

Coffee for example has skyrocketed recently. I remember when you used to be able to buy Illy Keurig Pods at a cost of $8.00 for 10 pods. Those same Illy Keurig Pods are now $15.00.
Years ago I switched to the Keurig reusable pod and buy my whole bean coffee in bulk at the Epicure Shop. I have a grinder from Costco that I run each morning - much to the cat's annoyance. But I get cheap and fresh coffee each day. And those pods are all thrown into the trash, adding to the microplastic contamination of our environment. So, I recommend getting the reusable pods and buying bulk coffee - you'll keep Greta off your back too.

I have one but with multiple people living in the house I cannot really grind coffee at 530 am.

That's a great tip - I hate having to throw out so many pods.

I grind my beans in the evening. My drip coffee maker has a clock and will start brewing at 6 am. It does require some planning, but it's part of my evening routine – cats begging for food means it's time to set up the coffee maker!

Donald Trump will be allowed to attend the G7 in Canada, for no more than 48 hours. Wonder if under the watchful eyes of the RCMP to make sure he leaves? Or face "deportation" from Canada?
...or unmarked RCMP vehicles pull up and make him disappear. *Poof!*

Buy ground coffee then. Or whole bean and grind a week's worth during the daytime.
I've been using the re-useable cups in my Keurig for years. Lately, I've been encountering more 'sludge' in my coffee. I don't know if manufacturers have generally switched to a finer grind for some reason. I drank Folgers for years but have been sampling other brands lately but so far no luck. I've thought about a grinder buy would have to do it the night before.

I wasn't aware of the hard 48-hour limit, but he will be travelling on a US diplomatic passport. Otherwise, he would likely be inadmissible because of his felony convictions.

Because the finer grind is actually the dust swept off the factory floor where the whole beans and courser grounds are processed. It's the same with teabags, where the dust-like contents would be useless as loose tea with the material dissolving into the water and then bypassing the filter.

"In coffee, everything has a buyer-from the cheapest floor sweepings, to the top one percent of the crop."

I don't think that's it. Bad quality beans get made into instant. It may be that they sift broken pieces out of whole beans but I don't think that is inherently bad coffee. I'm skeptical grind size has anything to do with quality.

A U.S. court has ruled most (not all) of the Trump Tariffs unlawful and injuncted their application.

From the above.

The Trump Administration has already filed an appeal.
Update: In case anyone hasn't heard yet...

...love how the media word it that Trump is the hero here. /bleh
