Yup they are. It's an older photo about a year or two before they closed up.I was of the understanding that Chris, Maxine, & Co were unfortunately
long gone from The Nicholas Hoare Book Shop.

I will never forget the experiences I had when developing film in Junior high and High school. I had one shot that needed a little more definition in the centre of the shot. The teacher showed me how to use my hands as a bowl, with an opening between my two little fingers. I used this when exposing the paper under the developer to shadow the edges and expose more of the centre. Worked a treat! And then there's all the fun you can have with a PMT camera and paste ups! Darkrooms are just cool!
I still have a couple of enlargers and a drying contraption and of course the easle... bring back those smelly old days under the red lights....![]()
