Is that a recent add to the back of the building or has it been there since construction started?

Built with the first tower....I guess they were "thinking ahead" when they poured the column

Could have been a concrete order "fill" which happens on projects from time to time.

Not sure exactly when it was installed but it has been there since at least early vertical construction.
