Pat from RFC Community Discord took a stroll to Cliff Plant. Seems partially open. Park isn't done and only one level of stairs open.

It must be getting closer to opening. New signage announcing "cliff climb" and public elevator down to the Ottawa River. Very exciting.
Love those parking lot view benches! Nothing more exciting than watching federal government worker cars parked!

I hope cliff climb means there will be rock climbing routes opening downtown. We have the topography for it, and it would be great for having such an option accessible by transit.

I don't think so. It very likely refers to the stairs and elevators down to the river front.

any idea when this opens? when I walked by on Saturday it was surrounded by construction fencing
The new cliff plant park is much too isolated for my taste because of all that parking. Very few people will wander to that area because of that physical barrier.
I'm curious where the staging area will be for the Supreme Court renovations.
Based on the NCC Core plan, the parking will eventually be removed.
