Hi, thank you for the detailed review.

Based on all of these logistics, when do you think occupancy will be?

Can the builder do this? Is there anything we can do legally to protect ourselves from occupancy fees, if people can't even use the units when occupancy dates are provided for move in?
I cannot give you an occupancy date for the 12 story tower or the main one as it is based on a number of things that is determined by the builder. Cannot have that many owners moving in at the same time due service elevators availability capacity and subject to window time for each owner. The builder will determine who gets to move in first and what floors.

By rights, all of the 12 story tower should be fully completed by the summer to the fall of this year with move in is when full power, water, heating and the elevators are fully operational for both towers or at least the 12 story.

Yes the builder can do it legally by pushing your occupancy date back but cannot charge you for that timeframe. Seen projects move in get pushed back a year to as much as 5 years as the building wasn't ready for various reason. In a lot of cases, construction is still on going both inside and outside that doesn't impact owners from moving in or not having full access various things. Same things happen for houses.

When you do your inspection, you may find things needing fixing before accepting the unit that you can delay signing the accepting until they are done based on your purchase agreement. By signing with issues, you will be force to wait weeks or months until they are done after you move in with no compensation.

Maybe one of your neighbours from one of the other two tower will add their experience for move in that pop in here from time to time.

Thank you so much for all of this information.

I guess I will circle back when they notify me about the new occupancy date. Maybe we can regroup then to see when they will likely finish the condo (as this new date will probably also be unreliable).

Happy Saturday!!!

Forgot I took this pic yesterday.

I miss counted it today and wanted to check the floor number. on a few things. Way behind on working my photos including the ones I shoot today of the towers.

I was told over a month ago that the south tower crane was to be down in early April, yet still up.

If you look close at the roof of the 12 story and the 13th floor of the main tower, the floor height is taller than the floors above and below it to say the roof will be X for both towers

Still taking 10-12 days to do a floor and longer than it should that is still putting the topping off into 2027 with a summer to fall move in that year.

@Paclo the south tower has finally came down today and later than supposed to be due slow delivery of precast panels and glazing. The north tower subject to holidays and weather is currently schedule April 2027 unless the increase the speed of a floor every 10 days to 7.

The 20th floor slab was fully poured Monday May 25, Main boom was lifted down starting at 10:01as one piece to be dissemble into sections on the ground.
