Over the next year I expect to hear a lot of announcements coming out of the Garrison . Heard today the rumours of the runways being revived is very much in the near future.also expect to see some residential towers out there.

I hope that Rohit buys it for a future phase of Stadium Yards, as they really only have the parcel nearest the LRT station left to develop.

Wasn't one of the runways out there an emergency landing area for the space shuttles in case of an emergency.

Looks like the lot to the right is at grade and starting to go above now.
The lot to the left, the house is gone, the site is fenced and Palazzo Developments signs are now on the site. 109 St just keeps churning stuff out with a lot more areas to develop.

Agree that there's major potential here! And what's up with the lot directly north of this one? It's just been empty forever. Would love to see something happen

If I remember right, a year ago there was a development permit by the same guy who built the little strip mall north of the empty lot. Calls for a couple CRU's including a drive through, nothing fancy.
In fact an excavator showed up on the weekend and started digging, no idea if it's for the development or something else.

Was just going to say I drove by a few days ago and I saw a couple guys working on something in the lot just south of the strip mall.
It would be great to have it all developed even if just for more of the same strip mall. Pretty sure that corner lot has been empty since before the Save-On plaza across the street was built so it's been a blight for at least 25 years now
