@KyleBlanchett So it's confirmed they're going ahead with that reno? Those renders have been around a long time, wasn't sure if it was going to happen or not.

@KyleBlanchett That's awesome news, that little building always held a lot more potential than its previous owners and tenants ever let it have.
Talked to my friend, turns out they are looking to support or partner with the city on some kind of connection from the funicular to MacDonald Drive. Pleased to hear that, it's a super important connection where people are already crossing dangerously.
Also heard the same about being a potential gondola terminus.
Or lord no please don't let them go ahead with this

@Daveography I personally love the "refreshed" look of this lounge it brings a modern but still sophisticated look into the historic building.

Having had tome to look at the Mac renovations and then sleep on it. Plus walking over and looking at the space, I have to say I like the renos. At first I didn't.

I thought that would be way to close to the tracks to put anything. Its interesting that there is 28 meters of usable land, only issue is that there is a massive embankment on the property.
