Here's a favorite of mine, along 114 St in Wîhkwêntôwin. What I wouldn't give for a couple dozen more of these around the city!

Beljan's Ritchie Market in the old Certified Radio space on Whyte looks like it'll be ready by summer. Went by today, and it has seen some substantial transformation, a lot more glass added.

On the contrary….the value for Firehouse subs…$14 for a large seems high….but for only $2 more than a Way-less-than-average Subway sandwich….its a bargain…..the meat is already 2.5X more than Subway without having to pay “extra” for it

Nope, not Canadian - US based but employees Canadian citizens - 10X better than Jerrod's favorite subs.

I've never tried Firehouse Subs before. If they are a Canadian company and their subs are good then then I'll be abandoning Subway.
Sort of. Owned by Restaurant Brands International (RBI), who also have Burger King and Tim Hortons and are a multinational organization.

I would recommend Pals, Farrow, or Banh Mi Day, but since many of the places like Subway are locally-owned franchises, I wouldn't get too in the weeds about "is it Canadian".

Exactly - don't eat there for all anyone cares but get over the notion of not eating at Non-Canadian restaurants - 99.9% of their stores are still in the US and I think we established a while back that RBI is 40%(?) owned by a Brazilian multi-national. So it means you can't eat at Tim's, BK, Popeyes or Firehouse. Plus that's a no-go for McD's, Subway, Sbux, Wendy's etc. A&W even started in the US - can't go there either.....

Btw, Beaumont is getting a Firehouse any day now.....yay!
