He was, though he wasn't needed for his own weird lost cause until the deputants were done, so he could have shown his face if he was so inclined.

I don't really get the shift either. He was never a lefty as such, but when he ran the first time, he was overtly a cyclist, and pro-Danforth bike lane, he was also in favour of planning reform and a few other causes, and otherwise would have appeared
centrist to most, except for, amusingly, a low tolerance for performative BS.

Since then, he's bordering on if not outright hostile to cycling, his constituency service has toileted, he's deeply unpopular in his own ward (I don't think he could politically survive a serious challenger), and he has aligned himself not even with the right-centre, but w/Holiday, Crisanti and others on the fringes, and engages in no end of performative BS, relegating himself to mere gadfly.

I assume he has backers who are telling him there is some type of longer term benefit to be had.... Its otherwise difficult to understand.
 
People actually take Bradford seriously?

Wasn't he competing with Chris Sky and Gong last election?

Ugh. I wish Daddy would take that dude's credit card away. He can't keep his mouth from getting him arrested over and over again. Just a few weeks ago he was claiming we were all under a Bio-Terror Alert, with some new bat-borne disease to be launched in Canada and the US on July 4th.

Chris Sky is a son of a (relatively) wealthy suburban housing developer. Who lives comfortably off the family business and gets to spew around anything him and his entourage want towards their following without repercussion.

Seems to be a common thing nowadays. Useless Sons/Daughters of wealthy people are all over the place doing idiotic things:

Ie: Marco Muzzo --> Son of Pemberton Group
Krista Ford --> Daughter of Premier
Chris Sky --> Son of Housing Developer Exec
