Now hear me out, it's almost 7 metres wide, the trains are about 2.6m wide? We can make it fit. We're going to have to shuffle lanes arounds, move the SUP over, move the counterflow lane over, but it'll work.

The underpass isn't an option, or at least not an easy option. The underpass has 4.0m and 4.1 clearances. LRT Design Guidelines have the minimum wire height as 4.2m from top of rail and overall clearance envelope is 4.6m for tunnels, otherwise 4.7m. The LRV dynamic envelope is 3.46m wide per car. I needed to combine a few measurements from various clearance diagrams. There's no centre traction pole to contend with, and being generous and eliminating the walkway envelope, 2 tracks would need a 7.940m width. Given the walkway envelope is likely a safety requirement, and certainly needed for day to day maintenance, and since it will be against a hard barrier which requires more space, about another 1.18 total.
