Wisteria Watch

Have some disappointing news. One set is completely dead and the plants have been removed. As you can see in the pics, the soil is absolutely useless, it’s just hard mud:

The second grouping doesn’t look well, my hunch is that it won’t survive after this season. One of the four is dead, while the other three are struggling. It looks like the soil has been washed out and there seems to be signs that rats have moved in to make a nest:
