Solicitation Document Description:
The City of Toronto's City Planning Division is seeking a team of qualified professionals to undertake the West Toronto Junction Phase 1 Heritage Conservation District (HCD) Study (the "HCD Study"), for the Study Area, outlined in Part 3, Appendix A.

I think the item above belongs in the other "The Junction" neighbourhood thread: https://urbantoronto.ca/forum/threads/the-junction.5008/page-43

Thanks to an odd quirk of Toronto's neighbourhood boundaries, what you and I would consider the Junction (and the area affected by the HCD linked above) is actually outside the boundaries of "Junction-Wallace Emerson" as defined by the city. We get the top half of the Junction Triangle, but none of the Junction proper. Meanwhile the bottom half of the Junction Triangle is nonsensically grouped with Dufferin Grove on the other side of the tracks. But I digress...

So it looks like DuPont will get the ‘complete streets’ treatment.

The ice cream parlour that just opened a few months ago on Dupont is already done 😄

Taken 14 November. Work progressing at the future library.

Not sure if Dovercourt is considered Wallace Junction and yes I did consult the official neighbourhood map. Anyways there is a Lebanese resto/café going into the south unit of this building. What I find interesting is that it is basically equidistant to Dovercourt south of Dupont, Geary Avenue and the developing node on Davenport.

On the northwest corner of Wallace and Landsdowne. Creeping urbanist retail! Taken 26 March.

Any idea what they're actually doing with that space? Would be nice if this was more that just a parking spot re-paving. :p

Judging by the size of the opening of the unit and surrounding uses I’m guessing a patio for a resto/café.
