Amazing! So I had the day off and decided to try my luck at getting access to the MabelleArts Pavilion. On my way there I passed by the new café (opening Saturday 1 Feb) at Mabelle/Cordova and chatted with the designer who is Persian and has a PhD from the University of Rome!

After an amazing exchange I went to Mabelle Park and was rewarded with the presence of Emma who gave me access and filled me in on what’s coming up!

5000 Dundas Street West, between Burnhamthorpe and Kipling, is listed for sale at $3.5 million

**PARKING LOT + PART BUILDING** Welcome to 5000, 4992 & 4990 Dundas St W - An incredible opportunity to own a 14 space parking lot + part of a freestanding building!!! 4990 Dundas St consists of 2 Lower Retail Units and 3 Upper Residential Units that are fully rented. PLUS you have the addition of including the property at 5000 Dundas St - which is a 14 space parking lot to compliment the entire portfolio. This area is experiencing a great amount of growth, turnover and re-development by way of mixed use condo development. Buy now and collect rental income, renovate and rejuvenate, OR assemble and develop in the future. A lot of possibilities await! (39845329)

I'd love to see all those shitty buildings on the north side of Dundas get redeveloped in this area.

Same can be said for vast majority of expanses along Dundas from around Malta Park halfway through the Junction westward towards Etobicoke

Dude, it's been my dream to see all the crap along Dundas west of Runnymede get mercilessly imploded and replaced with an unbroken streetwall of midrises with narrow retail spaces. Sigh.

I mean, at some point Etobicoke has to grow up...doesn't it??? I'd love to see it in my lifetime, but I'm increasingly skeptical...
