What's interesting about this one is that it is the first multi unit infill in Dovercourt. Happy to see it going up as a sign of confidence in the area. Many people in the neighborhood are worried how the homeless shelter by the Costco on 149st, that is about to open, might affect it.

That is pretty prominent location as well. The house 3 doors south is also gone. But one that has been gone for quite a few years is my old boyhood home on Dovercourt Ave. Been a vacant lot for about 6 years now. At least they didn't take out the apple tree.
As for low rent apartments the old ones on the Ave were always low rent even back in the 60s. And my old school ST Rita's was an AADAC location for a while.
