Saw this for the first time today and thought that a little reorganization of the grounds around it would go a long way! How about a clear line of sight to the promenade and water?

You want to cut down the only section of forest in the immediate area, which the City only planted ~20 years ago?

No!

There's no shortage of open views of the Lake and Bay, both from the Western Beaches side and from the Humber Bay Shores side. I don't see why one more viewing spot would be desirable.

A few images of one of my favourite neighbourhoods! Love the promenade, the circular stormwater tank (reminds me of Gujarat!) the Ukrainians/Poles. And I see immense possibilities for the breakwaters as locations for public art/floating saunas/piers/bridges! Taken 6 April.
