ERRS is debuting two new streetcars June 7 at Fort Edmonton Park. This post has the key info. Personally I'm most excited for the barn tours, which will give access to the public to the (very well equipped, including a few original machines from Cromdale) restoration barn. This space hasn't been opened to the public in years, and will also be showing the first stages of ERRS' next project, Edmonton 65, destined to go to the High Level Bridge when complete.

Very good. They should definitely be accepting contactless payments, though. Cash only in 2025 is questionable considering how cheap you can buy a POS system...

I think I’m in the minority, but I truly wish our streetcar line was decommissioned to create a NYC style “high line” from whyte to downtown. I honestly think this would be a massive improvement to both communities

Alas, at this point the streetcar really is the most efficient way to get from downtown to Whyte, which is really sad.

Went to the open house yesterday. Had a great time chatting with the volunteers my only bug bare was I wasn't able to buy souvenirs as they only took cash.
