The media must just be hating this situation. For years they've been privy to leaks, direct access to cabinet ministers, etc. Now we've got a PM that won't play the media's game, and the media just doesn't know what to report.

So true; they might have to occupy themselves by spending more time doing research and actually covering public policy issues with depth and clarity.
