Last time I was there it seemed like it desparately needed a fresh coat of paint.

Still, a great looking station.
 
Now you mention it, I guess it has aged a bit since I used it regularly as an undergrad so long ago. But not as much as I have :)

The shed could be so much more attractive if fully restored and enhanced, with the trusswork lit up and accented, and platforms with more attractive lighting, signage, and paving. While something a lot more spectacular is possible, it could have an excellent historic atmosphere with the right treatment.
