Sure, but.....

You still need them to output different voltages - VIA uses 480vAC and GO uses 575vAC. That's not an overnight thing to fix - it will take several weeks at least to set up the new feeds to the distribution network, install new transformers, install the new wayside cabinets, run conduit, etc.

Someone mentioned that there is a rumor that they want to get service started in October so if that's true, then they should get started on that now....
 
Hopefully the schedule is both ways at both rush hours (although at the speed of this corridor using the word "rush hour" is a misnomer).

Only issue with that schedule is that they would likely want two platforms in Kitchener when they cross, at least for the morning trips.

Counter peak service just won’t happen until the sidings are restored west of Georgetown. That work is still awaiting procurement. Possibly in a year or two.

It does in a way as it takes time to remove the belts.

The reality is though that if a bus slams on the brakes passengers will go flying. That is likely why they did this.

So is this because of rules on motor coaches or the seats on the bus? The enviro isn't technically a motorcoach by pure definition is it? Anyone know the exact text of the regulation?
