Liberty Village is a different station. The one at The Well could still happen, likely in conjunction with whatever decking proposal eventually comes to fruition.
There is no decking proposal currently being contemplated. CRAFT have demonstrated that they only intended to inflate the value so that when they eventually got expropriated, they'd get more money:
Ahhhhhhhhhh I have wanted to post about this for so long...

FINALLY: https://www.thetrillium.ca/news/pol...m-metrolinx-in-expropriation-dispute-11134991

(I know the rights in question aren't exactly these ones but as the story pertains directly to the viability [NONE WHATSOEVER] of this stupid phantasmagoria, it probably best belongs here)

GO Transit’s new MCI D45 CRT #5000 has arrived in Toronto. Apparently you won’t have to wait long to see it as they want to get these in service as soon as possible.

Good grief those aisles are narrow. Still has the ambience of a souped up school-bus. I'll miss the layout on the double decker's.

Is there a wheelchair lift or something on each bus? I've never seen how they do that.

I guess we will see the old ones sold off to third party carriers.
GO needs all of the buses that they can get right now. This is why they've been sending them out for rebuild by the dozen.

No different than any of the almost 500 versions of the same bus that they've operated historically.

Yes. Third window back from the front door.

Where did you go to school that had school buses comparable in any way to a GO coach?!

My school's buses could be more accurately described as prisoner transports!

LOL old guy bragging rights - once upon a time, TTC/GCL augmented local school boards' bus fleets with chartered end-of-life coaches fitted with School Bus signs. Summer Parks and Rec programs, also.

My Grade 5-6 diet included Cancars, Twins, GM Old Looks, and (once) a PD-4104.

Uphill, both ways.

It's strange that they added more handholds considering you're not allowed to stand on coach buses that are equipped with seatbelts.

What on earth are you talking about? The ambience is basically the same as the double deckers, and not even remotely like a school bus.

They leave people behind if there are no available seats. This has already been the case for a few years.
On the MCIs I've been on since the school year started, they let the standee capacity fill, too.

Not that that's a great extra amount of space, but still, if it's going to be seated only going forward that's cause for some concern.

because the old MCIs don't have seatbelts. Like I said, passengers are required by law to use seatbelts if they are provided, and seatbelts are required by Transport Canada on coach buses built after September 2020.
