Why? Whether or not it has a “Stony Plain” or a “YYC” in front of the co-op? Does it matter at the end of the day? Read the article, Co-Op as a “whole” are not good people. You can go ahead and shop there, but grocery gangsters are not my cup of tea.
Can't find anything in the article that backs up your claim here. North Central Co-op is part of the Federated Co-operatives (FCL), whereas Calgary Co-op pretty much completely severed ties with FCL. The FCL website doesn't list any stores in Calgary on their website, and their stores are supplied by Pattison rather than FCL like ours are.

That’s comforting to know that a YYC restaurant chain who only served YYC micro brews in the YEG market is calling it quits. Geez that’s too bad, oddly enough another YYC based Brewsters is going to downsize by moving buildings? I would surmise their current building is larger than Beer Revolution’s. Back in the day, I GM’d the original restaurant builder of that building…
Come to think of it, I think that restaurant was on an episode of “You Gotta Eat here.” The host did High Level Diner, Chartier and that one

Even more ironically, the Calgary location actually closed a couple years ago and this was the only one left.

Slowly, but surely, YEGDT improves.

Taste was good and better than past years IMO. Sure it's a bit pricey, but factor in the infra, setup and festival element it's ok.

Deep fried crab wonton - 5/5
Lemongrass beef bun - 4/5
Jerk beef patty - 4/5
Tostada barria - 4/5
Chicken souvlaki (no photo) - 4/5
Mango pudding - 3/5

"La Catrina Wood Fired Pizza." - google searched comes up with a Mexican joint on 97th St that's not even a restaurant.....so where exactly is this place?

Booth 11 at Taste of Edmonton. I was intrigued by anything with the work "pizza," never heard of it and now.....

Funny enough - the entire stretch of 98 ave road, curb and gutter is in a horrible state of disrepair - identical to the stoop of that establishment.....

That Chinese restaurant in the downtown Comfort Inn has been under renovations for the past 1 or 2 years now!

That's 'code' for buh bye... but there have been some minor updates to the hotel, so here's hoping something new goes in there.

When I went by a while ago, they actually seemed to be doing some reno work in the lobby nearby so almost, but I agree for the restaurant space itself I feel it is code for that.
