Is it the Green Line vehicle storage facility ?
Only thing I've seen is a DP for the roads:Much larger excavation occurring than I first realized at 130th Ave beside the PBS building. Earth moving happening the entire length along Deerfoot. Anyone know next phase design or have access to a DP?
Went to Luke's over the weekend, and man, I really feel bad for any business on that block...how many times has that road been torn up now in the last few years? 3?Sidewalk upgrades in Bridgeland.
The next main street being redone is in Sunalta. I think the Marda Loop experience is probably giving the city second thoughts and unless businesses/BIA is on board, they won't push as hard to redo.Speaking of sidewalk upgrades, 9th Ave in Inglewood really needs some help. Super narrow in places, no coherence, very rough and dilapidated in many stretches…..Did 17th Ave ever go back and finish the sidewalks? From driving through it still looks incomplete in areas.
Again, these are being redone for underground utility work as well. They're not just streetscape projects. I saw businesses on Stephen Ave on social media again saying, "the street was just fine before". I can't believe I have to keep hitting the sign: THIS IS NOT JUST A STREETSCAPE PROJECTThe next main street being redone is in Sunalta. I know that's true for Marda Loop and especially Stephen Ave, but for Sunalta, they never say anything about utilities as a driver for the work. Same with Bridgeland, "In partnership with utility providers, we have made substantial progress on utility upgrades. This work is a key step in preparing for future streetscape improvements"Again, these are being redone for underground utility work as well. They're not just streetscape projects. People complain the utilities are outdated and then complain when the utilities get updated. Some people...
