Apparently next train arrival data is public now (from Reddit):
That's TransSee - and it looks like it's the same schedule information that's been there since 2025; rather than location information. If you look at the bus and streetcar routes, it shows the vehicle number in this screen.Apparently next train arrival data is public now (from Reddit):
The subway never had vehicle locations, and uses a different API than the bus/streetcar, which is GTFS-RT/NextBus. The API endpoint is here: ntas.ttc.ca/api/ntas/get-next-train-time/16323 (where the last 5 digits is the stop code). You can see from the Line 1 API output that it only shows the next 3 trains without vehicle numbers, exactly what's shown on the screens (ntas.ttc.ca/api/ntas/get-next-train-time/13795).That's TransSee - and it looks like it's the same schedule information that's been there since 2025; rather than location information. I'm not sure I've realised that Line 1/2/4 was real data, with the relatively accurate data on the screens (unlike Line 5), I've never thought to check. The subway never had vehicle locations, and uses a different API than the bus/streetcar, which is GTFS-RT/NextBus. not worn out at all. what you are seeing is mostly just rust deposits from rain water washing it off the rails and dirt and dust. Nothing unusual for this kind of guideway.Insane how worn out the guideway already looks lol

And on top of that, you don't have rubber tires running on there discolouring the concrete and wearing off the iron particles.not worn out at all. what you are seeing is mostly just rust deposits from rain water washing it off the rails and dirt and dust. Nothing unusual for this kind of guideway.
For the first time, the LRT beats the car driver in speed between Jane and Keele yesterday. Mosaic had close the entire right lane between Driftwood and Sentinel on both directions, for repairing the curb around two or maybe three catch basins. Of course, there was no one working at 6PM but they didn't bother to open the right lane. I guess this is one way to make rider feels the LRT is flying since the cars are not moving.Any updates on the speed and reliability?
This got me excited for a second there...For the first time, the LRT beats the car driver in speed between Jane and Keele yesterday.
