And the refurbishment staircase at Osgoode station to the west side of University is taking months...or are they done that yet? Haven't been there in a bit. Regardless, it seems they could prolly get that job in about 1/10 of the time.

Since this has turned into a series of rants about TTC construction in general ... can anyone explain why the installation of an elevator at Lawrence West station has taken ... what is it? at least two years and counting?

I think there was a problem with the original contractor.
