Where can one sign this petition? I fully support separation of California from the continent!

As satisfying as it was seeing Hollywood burn to the ground, it wasn't quite thorough enough...

Towing the whole land mass a couple thousand km west would be a great next step tho
Make California the 11th province, it can be our Alaska.

It seems every time a party we do not like is in power theses days, talk starts to turn to separatism.

I suppose that is an understandable response, but we do have elections and hopefully the same person or party is not in power forever.

I more familiar with the regional tensions here in Canada, but of course the US has those too and the United States are not always so united either.

I’m a genius. This from a British web page
In case anyone doesn't want to watch a 9-minute video, here's the gist:

Trudeau had 16%.

Imagine an Albertan cheering on wildfires.

The chair of the local Democratic Party has tongue-in-cheek been talking about California, Oregon, and Washington seceding and joining Canada as Provinces 11, 12 and 13 (if that were to happen Nevada and Arizona would definitely come along considering over half of their raison d'être relies on business from California; such a break-up as far-fetched as it would be would also bring the north-east States along as well). Fox "infotainment news" would have to move its headquarters from New York to Minot, North Dakota.

Well Republicans (and their supporters) sure seem to whine about those states a lot. Surely they wouldn't mind us taking them off their hands.

So far, I'm sold on this guy - in how he communicates and what he's proposing and that he's got the background experience to make it successful. I feel more confident, at least in terms of economics, and competitiveness of Canadian companies in the future (versus the US turning inwards).

My only concern with Mark Carney is his lack of a seat in the House of Commons.

Hollywood isn't an innocent forest that did nothing, they've been asking for some fiery retribution for a long time..

Of course not! Politics in the west is a clown show, why on earth would I take it seriously?
Fiery retribution? As if any entity in the universe actually capable of that would care enough to bother.

As for seriousness, if you’re not taking things seriously, why would you think anyone might care about what you think or take you seriously?

If all you’re doing is throwing sh!t around, maybe you need to look harder at where you need to be to do that and think about spending more time somewhere that let’s you keep your hands clean and smells nicer.
