Yeah, it sucks now and it'll suck after, I get it. But this could easily be a green space, maybe some basketball hoops, food trucks, as a temporary measure before anything is built. Positioning this as a win for downtown when you know it is nothing but a cash grab for Westerich, perhaps indefinitely, is lame.

You seem to be forgetting that it will be taxpayer dollars paid by those on the sidelines that will end up paying for this…

If this is what it takes for Westrich to be able to afford to buy it from Regency, those sideline dollars will end up in Regency’s pockets as a reward for bestowing this on us .

Exactly my thoughts. Put a basketball court there in the summer and try for an ice rink in the winter, at least until it's ready for build out.

Well as I said earlier with The Shack on the corner that's one hopeful business that can be there for a while at least and the parking lots could have some food trucks and a temporary basketball or some sort of other courts could be also put in there so I guess we'll see if the space can be better utilized. The sad thing is, there are probably a few people out there that will be so happy to see a parking lot right there, for their own usage.
