Truly a god awful design that goes against all best practice design guidelines for a winter city, let alone such a prominent site on a capital city's public square.

Yeah, this is the better side of the library, the west side is hideous. If I were the Art Gallery of Ontario, I would be insulted to be compared to this. Any similarity is coincidental.^

While Vancouver, Calgary and Ottawa all built great libraries, we yet again cheaped out along with a lack of imagination. The people in our city who came up with this should be embarrassed.
