Really? That parkade was decrepit and exceptionally short from what I recall, but I suppose that the geotechnical and original foundations would be too costly to replicate?!?

Unsure if the parkade itself will remain but I have been told that the foundations on the slope are staying as complete demolition is too risky/expensive.

After I took that pic, the blond guy got out of his truck, walked over to me, and we chatted about the status of the work. He said the work is weather-dependent, is limited by the parkade, and doesn't know when it will be finished. He suggested that I take pics from the Edmonton House bridge, which I did.
