With rental prices skyrocketing and general housing shortage, I wonder in 5 yrs if we'll look back at this time and wonder why 2020 era new build towers were so short.
Laurent and Eleanor are tall. I'm pretty sure this involves helicopters coming in through the corridor along 83 Ave.

Bingo. The approaches for STARS are a primary reason and having spoke directly with this developer (Highpoint), they confirmed that and would have otherwise done a 20-25+ storey.

Ah would have been amazing for this to have been taller; would really have stood out in an amazing way. But agree with @bodsbods9090 I hope they build something of similar quality and taller elsewhere in and around the core.

Sidewalk on the east side of 112th St is open again. Scaffolding over the sidewalk removed on the west side of 112th St too.
Looks like 84th Ave is getting the neighbourhood renewal treatment. This was delayed because of the ONE12 construction. Per the Garneau Neighbourhood Renewal Plan, 84th Ave is due for a bike lane. Hopefully it gets installed this fall!
