These numbers mean something like 30-40,000,000++ gross per game in just ticket sales.

And correct me if I'm wrong, but players arent paid for playoffs - so Katz doesnt even have this expense while raking in these huge gross revenues.

Edit : I checked and a few players may have bonuses in contract related to playoffs, but for most part players arent paid.

“….Something special planned for tonight’s game….”

These are the same guys who did all of those recent aerial shots of our sports facilities that Ian posted! Hoping they have new drone footage to show off!
Did anyone catch the last 2 opening sequences? I missed them both....was there anything different with drone footage? Or with anything else? What did these guys do exactly?

Yankee journalists should not be writing about Hockey! Imagine myself, a HUGE College Football fan wrote a blog for College Football out of the "Fort Worth Star-Telegram?" Pretending to know that I am more versed in College Footlball than your typical Yank walking the streets of Texas? Not a chance, I would only know a fraction of the game compared to them. Just like this guy, keep your mouth shut wanna-be......

I believe the league pays out teams after they are eliminated from the playoffs. So the deeper your team goes, the more each player makes from the league.

One thing is for certain: nobody will be happier with this series going to seven games than Mr. Katz given the home ice advantage. Oilers would probably zoom past $400m of gross revenue this season if so and will easily be the highest grossing revenue team for a second year in a row.

Not like any of these folks are hockey geniuses but Gregor did pick the Oil from the get-go.....

There's also this:
But Florida has the superior depth across all four lines, as evidenced by an NHL-high 18 different players with at least one goal scored this postseason.

The Oilers have 19. LOL.
