Hmmmmm….something smells fishy here. A shallow basement with no retaining walls under construction yet. High end building with a no name builder……

I believe there is no parking due to the very close proximity to McKernan/Belgravia station.

I'm a huge fan of this kind of development, and I believe it will be more profitable for developers, and more affordable for residents that won't have to subsidize expensive parking despite never using it.
 
How does that work with the city. Is this a unique partnership, or is there a program for such buildings?

This is very common; I've worked on projects in Edmonton, Canmore, Vancouver and in Calgary where this becomes part of the Traffic Demand Management or TIA requirements.

Actually, you may/will see more of this soon.

Anyone get any recent eyeballs on these? Right next door to Ian's building - but he never snags a picture of these? I wonder why?
