Any word on the food and beverage hall opening on the second floor? Sucks they aren't open during the Oilers epic playoff run.

Totally. And I’d imagine they’re not getting the wedding season for this summer for the event space? Should be pretty popular in the future for wedding receptions I could imagine with all the old churches nearby people do ceremonies at.

really cool place, reminds me of assembly hall in downtown toronto, place was packed during the raptors 2019 playoffs run, hoping this place brings similar vibes in edmonton for oilers/canada sporting events

Epic Market food hall to open Thursday at Station Park on Whyte Avenue

I checked this out a week before and I'm not sure if it's just me but the view and the vibe genuinely makes it feel like a "big city" amenity. Great to see and would love more projects like this maybe in Wihkwentowin or downtown itself!

EPIC Market was conceived and is run by two Edmonton entrepreneurs who both graduated from the U of A, the business was financed in Edmonton, the project was completed by an Edmonton developer, the design was from an Edmonton architectural form, and construction was done by an Edmonton contractor using Edmonton sub-trades.

It does look great and it does have good vibes but FFS they’re well earned Edmonton vibes, not MTL or Portland vibes.
