Nice! $800M+ PLUS 1000 jobs! Unlike YYC’s failed-never-to-break-ground De Havilland Fire bomber “campus” this will see the light of day. Kinda helps having a hometown PM I guess?!

WJ desperately trying to hold back bankruptcy and ensuring YYC is making their $53M monthly interest payments on their new terminal.....

Privately held company so no exact details - but how do you think they have been doing? Even with the "revenge travel" after COVID - and after Big Daddy Trump's rhetoric - do you think their business "model" of flying all overseas flights out of YYC makes sense? They expect folks from YVR, TO and MTL to fly to YYC to catch a flight to Europe? I've heard they are fire bagging rates as low as $99 each way on the 787. One guy I know in NRT paid that much at the last minute to come back to AB....go figure?!.

“while a second MOB under development in Edmonton will be able to support up to three and the creation of up to 1,000 jobs”

This is great for Edmonton and YEG, but not everything has to be some competition with YYC. I don’t think anybody saw this positive news as such. This whole schtick is getting pretty tired.

Every time something good happens in YYC we tend to get it shoved down our throats whether we care to hear about it or not, so I feel the negative posts about them may be a reaction to that which is also tiring.

Oh yeah? Well what’s your schtick? Not contributing anything to the discussion? Well if that’s the case, keep it up…you’re doing great work!
