I was a bit apprehensive based on prior photos, but it actually looks sick. The first floor brickwork doesn't look cheap at all. I would've preferred a match to the historic building (and more brick in general), but better an entirely different color than one that's close but not quite.

I went by a few days ago and don't mind the darker colour or find it too overwhelming either. It actually fits in nicely with the newer part.

Even though they are attached I look at it as two different buildings and both look great.
