350+ units seems ambitious for 35 storeys unless they're planning on bringing a taste of Toronto to this development in the form of 300 sqft broom closets studio apartments.
For reference, Falcon I is well endowed in terms of girth and it only has ~230 units in 27 floors of residential (excluding the podium).

^ I believe the way the structure is already aligned for Connect, this building will be much girth-ier than Falcon, with 9 more floors. I only wish that they would take it to its max 44 floors so that it feels proportional to the other ICE towers.

Judging on the language, it seems like a showcase tower for Indigenous investment, so here's hoping for a nice render/design?

True, but it's the wasted potential and lack of delivery of promises that burns our collective butts.

They didn't lease to the banks because there was a long line up of other good potential tenants during and after COVID. Before they tried to attract a new movie theatre here, but that fell through.
The wasted potential here is mostly related to timing and Edmonton's general neglect of its downtown.
