Just drove by, wood paneling could have saved it, but unfortunately the plastic fake wood they are putting up in that spot looks bad.

This has almost turned into a signature Edmonton style. A bleh monotone building with a sort of squiggle of colour and narrow windows.

I warned everyone that the onslaught was coming -- let a few sub-pars on the scene and it gives a nod to all developers that this is acceptable in the E.

Why didn't they make the windows full length at least?? Still would look cheap but it would've made the design like 2x better lol.

I really, really don't get the cladding situation on this building. Why do the first and second floors alternate so much between brick and that stucco-ish material?

looks very close to the original rendering back in 2019 and back then, people were falling over themselves with effusive praise... what changed?
